The S&P/IFCI Composite is a liquid and investable subset of the S&P Emerging BMI, with the addition of South Korea. While the S&P Global BMI and S&P Frontier BMI are designed as comprehensive benchmark indices, the S&P/IFCI indices are designed to be sufficiently investable to support index tracking portfolios. The S&P/IFCI has a long and established history going back to 1988.
